A heartthrob called Queer Ball
Queer Ball started as a small event with a big dream – and I was there. Creating a safe space where we, people from the LGBTQ+ community, could have fun, dance, and be ourselves was something that truly excited me. The most colorful Queer Ball took place for the first time in 2013 in Brno, and since then, I’ve had the honor of being involved in its development and organization. We have already hosted more than 15 balls in Brno and Prague, and from humble beginnings, it has gradually grown into an event that brings together people across generations and cultures. For me, Queer Ball is more than just about dancing – it is a space filled with joy, freedom, and a celebration of diversity. Looking ahead, I believe Queer Ball has the ambition to become an even more important and recognized event within the LGBTQ+ community.
